Buttock Augmentation and BBL Before and After: What the Evidence Shows

11 peer-reviewed sources

Buttock augmentation reshapes and adds volume to the buttocks, most often through a Brazilian Butt Lift (fat transfer using the patient's own fat) and sometimes with implants. The before-and-after photos here show one patient's contour before surgery and again after swelling resolves and grafted fat stabilizes, which can take several months. Results depend strongly on how much fat is available, how much grafted fat survives, your body shape, and weight changes afterward, so the same technique can yield different volume and projection from one person to the next. The evidence reports high aesthetic satisfaction but also takes safety seriously: fat grafting to the buttock has been linked to fatal fat embolism, and major task-force reviews have driven safer techniques such as avoiding intramuscular and deep injection. Photos cannot show fat-retention over time, the chance of a touch-up procedure, or the importance of an experienced surgeon following current safety guidance. View these images as realistic examples while recognizing that your result, and your risk profile, are individual.

Results vary from person to person; these photos show individual outcomes and are not a guarantee of your result.
