About Dr. Gülay Akay
Dt. Gülay Akay is the founder and chief medical officer of Dentakay Dental Clinic. Starting from a small dental clinic in Bağcılar, she built Dentakay into a multi-branch international dental group serving patients from across Europe and beyond.
Clinical Focus
Her practice spans cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry, with proficiency in smile design, bone grafting, laser dentistry and digital workflow. She handles complex implant cases including same-day implants, All-on-4 surgery and bone augmentation.
Experience
Dr. Akay has more than 16 years of expertise in dentistry. She started independent practice in 2011 with a clinic in Bağcılar, Istanbul, and established Dentakay Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic in 2018, leading a team of more than 60 specialists. She has placed thousands of dental implants over more than a decade of focused implant work.
