What moves the price
- The implant brand. Sani charges $8,110 with its standard system, $8,950 with Nobel Biocare and $9,710 with Straumann (Sani price list).
- The final bridge. Cancun Dental Specialists charges $5,400 for a fixed hybrid denture and $6,400 for a Prettau zirconia bridge (Cancun Dental Specialists). Marietta prices its All-on-6 at $9,999 and $12,999 with a zirconia bridge (Marietta).
- The number of implants. At Shtern, All-on-6 costs $12,700 to $13,700, against $10,300 to $11,300 for All-on-4 (Shtern).
- Extractions and bone grafts. Dental 3 Smiles says its price varies with the number of extractions; Sani lists extractions from $60 and bone grafts at $420 per unit.
What the price usually includes — and what it doesn't
All-on-4 quotes are rarely like for like. Before you compare, ask whether the price covers the final bridge or only the temporary teeth you leave with after surgery.
Included in the price
- Per Dental 3 Smiles: exam, evaluation, X-rays, treatment plan, extractions, bone grafting, the implants and the complete dentures for All-on-4 or All-on-6.
- Per Marietta Dental Care: lodging and ground transportation are included in its full-arch prices.
- Per YeahSmile: free ground transportation between the airport, clinic and hotel; accommodation if you qualify for its promotion.
- Per Sani Dental Group: a free initial examination; the All-on-4 price includes the fixed hybrid denture.
Not included, or charged separately
- Per Sani Dental Group: CT scan and panoramic X-rays ($150), IV sedation ($600), extractions (from $60) and bone grafts ($420 per unit). Sani says all prices on its site are base or “starting at” prices.
- Per Marietta Dental Care: payment is split. In its All-on-6 example, $6,500 is due at surgery, when you receive a temporary denture, and the remaining $3,500 when you return four to six months later for the final denture.
- Per Sani’s warranty: the guarantee covers dental treatment done at its clinics, not travel costs.
- Flights are never included.

Is All-on-4 right for you?
All-on-4 replaces all the teeth in one jaw with a fixed bridge on four implants; the two back implants are tilted so they can use the denser bone at the front of the jaw, which often avoids a bone graft. It suits adults who have lost all or nearly all of their teeth in an arch, or whose remaining teeth cannot be saved. Alternatives to discuss are a removable denture held by two to four implants (cheaper, but it comes out for cleaning), All-on-6 (more implants share the load) or individual implants and bridges if enough teeth and bone remain. A prosthodontist can explain which option fits your bone and bite (American College of Prosthodontists).
How many trips and how long you stay
Plan on two trips. On the first, the teeth are removed, the implants placed and a temporary fixed bridge fitted, often the same day. After three to six months of healing, while the implants fuse with the bone, you return for the final bridge. Shtern says its treatment timelines run three to ten days per visit (Shtern); Marietta's payment plan assumes a return four to six months after surgery. Bone grafting can add months.
Risks to discuss before you book
- Implant survival is high but not guaranteed. A 2026 meta-analysis found pooled implant survival of about 98% after five or more years (Shao et al., 2026); the long-term cohort from the clinic that developed the concept reports 93% implant survival at up to 18 years in the lower jaw (Maló et al., 2019).
- The bridge can break. Mechanical complications occurred in about 6% of cases in the 2026 meta-analysis, and reviews find that acrylic bridges fracture more often than metal-ceramic or zirconia ones (Huber et al., 2026).
- Gum and bone problems. Biological complications such as peri-implantitis occurred in about 6.5% of cases. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and poor cleaning under the bridge raise the risk.
- Care at home. The CDC notes that follow-up care for complications after treatment abroad can be expensive and might not be covered by your health insurance (CDC).
How to choose a clinic and dentist
Every dentist in Mexico needs a professional license (cédula profesional) that you can look up in the government's public registry; oral surgeons, periodontists and prosthodontists hold a separate specialty license. Ask every clinic, and get the answers in writing:
- Who will place the implants, and who will design the bridge? How many full-arch cases do they treat a year?
- Which implant brand and model will you use? Ask for the lot stickers for your records.
- Does the price include the final bridge, and what is it made of: acrylic on a metal frame or zirconia?
- What is included: CT scan, extractions, bone grafts, sedation, hotel and transfers?
- What does the warranty cover if an implant fails or the bridge breaks after you fly home, and who pays for the extra trip?
Arrange a U.S. dentist who will see you for check-ups and cleanings before you travel.
Mexico or Turkey for All-on-4?
Turkish clinics advertise lower prices, but read what they cover. DentaTur in Antalya lists All-on-4 at $2,100 per jaw, and its package lists four implants with 12 temporary teeth, hotel and transfers (DentaTur). Dentakay in Istanbul (xcuro partner) lists full-arch implants from €3,559 to €8,689 per jaw (Dentakay). With two trips needed, two round trips to Turkey plus hotels can cancel out much of the difference for most Americans, while Los Algodones and Tijuana are a drive across the border and Cancun is a nonstop flight from many U.S. cities.
Getting there
- Los Algodones. A small town built around dental tourism at the Andrade border crossing near Yuma, Arizona; most patients park on the U.S. side and walk across.
- Tijuana. Across the border from San Diego.
- Cancun. Nonstop flights average under 3 hours from Dallas and about 4 to 4.5 hours from Chicago and New York (Kayak).
- Coming back by land. Bring a U.S. passport, passport card, enhanced driver's license or trusted-traveler card such as SENTRI; flying home from Mexico requires a passport book.
- Safety. The State Department sets its Mexico travel advisory state by state. Before you book, check the current level for Baja California, where Tijuana and Los Algodones are, and for Quintana Roo, where Cancun is (State Department).
Paying for it: insurance, Medicare and HSA
Original Medicare does not pay for most dental services (Medicare), and U.S. dental plans rarely pay for treatment abroad, so check your plan first. Dental treatment such as extractions and dentures counts as a medical expense under IRS Publication 502, so HSA or FSA funds may be usable; check with your plan administrator.
Looking after All-on-4 at home
A fixed bridge needs daily cleaning underneath, usually with a water flosser or small brushes, and professional check-ups. Ask the clinic for your treatment records, implant details and X-rays so a U.S. dentist can maintain the bridge, tighten screws or repair it if needed.
Frequently asked questions
How much does All-on-4 cost in Mexico?
At the seven clinics listed on xcuro that publish a price, $5,400 to $13,500 per arch: from $5,400 at Cancun Dental Specialists and YeahSmile, $8,000 at Dental 3 Smiles, $8,110 to $9,710 at Sani Dental Group, $9,500 at Teethsavers and $10,300 to $11,300 at Shtern. In the U.S., All-on-4 averages about $15,176 (CareCredit).
Is the All-on-4 price per arch or for both jaws?
Per arch, meaning one jaw. Replacing the teeth in both jaws means two arches and roughly double the price.
Does the price include the final bridge?
Not always. Some quotes cover only surgery and the temporary teeth, with the final bridge paid on the second trip; Marietta, for example, splits payment between surgery and the final denture four to six months later. Ask for the final bridge and its material in writing.
How many trips to Mexico do I need for All-on-4?
Usually two: one for extractions, implants and a temporary fixed bridge, and a second three to six months later for the final bridge.
Is All-on-6 better than All-on-4?
Not necessarily. A 2026 meta-analysis found similar long-term implant survival, about 98% for All-on-4 and 97.5% for All-on-6. Six implants share the load, which some dentists prefer in the softer upper jaw; it costs more, for example $12,700 to $13,700 at Shtern.
How long does All-on-4 last?
Studies report implant survival of about 98% after five or more years, and 93% at up to 18 years in the lower jaw in the longest follow-up. The bridge may need repairs or replacement over time, especially acrylic bridges.
Can I use my HSA or FSA for All-on-4 in Mexico?
Dental treatment such as extractions and dentures counts as a medical expense under IRS Publication 502, so HSA or FSA funds may be usable; check with your plan.

Before you travel: what the CDC recommends
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention publishes guidance for Americans travelling abroad for medical care. These are its recommendations, not ours.
- Check the qualifications of the clinician who will perform the procedure and the credentials of the facility.
- Bring copies of your medical records, including lab and other test results related to your condition.
- Make sure you can get follow-up care in the United States. Care for complications can be expensive and might not be covered by your health insurance.
- Obtain international travel health insurance that covers medical evacuation back to the United States.
- See your own healthcare provider 4–6 weeks before the trip to discuss risks specific to your health.

Clinical evidence on All-on-4 full-arch implants
9 peer-reviewed sourcesThe All-on-4 concept has been followed for up to about 20 years, mostly in retrospective cohorts. A 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis reported pooled implant survival of 98.1% after five or more years, similar to All-on-6, with mechanical complications in 5.9% and biological complications in 6.5% of cases. The developer's own long-term cohorts report 93% implant survival and 98.8% prosthesis survival at up to 18 years in the lower jaw, and 94.7% implant survival at up to 13 years in the upper jaw. Reviews note that acrylic bridges fracture more often than metal-ceramic or zirconia bridges, and that most evidence comes from retrospective studies, so long-term results should be read with caution. A review of quality-of-life studies found high patient satisfaction after All-on-4, while calling for long-term randomized trials.
